Subjective Importance

"you've decided arbitrarily that "judaism" is important for you. osama bin ladin has decided that islam is important for him. stalin felt that communism was the way to go. hitler made your elimination the goal of humanity. yadayadayada......"

It's hardly arbitrary. I am Jewish. And all those other guys are fine to go their own way as long as they don't hurt anyone in the process. (Which is where your analogies fail for people with such utter disregard for human life.)

I find it very much like being in a family. A family can have a legacy unimportant to anyone but that family. Likewise, I don't want my wider family's legacy broken...and forgotten.
